I had my mother’s 70th birthday cake made by this bakery and it came out BEAUTIFUL!!! But best of all it tasted AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Old school shop where everything is good I’ve been wanting to stop by Rudy’s for a while and am so glad I did. Everything about this place is fantastic. It is truly a landmark establishment with 90 years under its belt. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a plethora of baked goods, cakes, and drinks to choose from. The staff is lovely to talk with and shared great recommendations. On this visit I tried the cinnamon roll, the Linzer tart, alfajores, prune hamantaschen, and the oatmeal cream pie. I washed it down with an iced americano. The oatmeal cream pie is hands down the best version I have ever had. The cookie is delicate and buttery with the perfect level of sweetness and texture from the oats. The filling is unbelievable. It tastes like the best vanilla ice cream with just enough sweetness to work well with the cookies. I could have half a dozen of these just to myself. Shoutout to the staff for recommending it at the last second. The prune hamantaschen was gorgeous with a lightly spiced crust reminiscent of a perfectly flakey pie crust but a little thicker and with better flavor. This bakery has been around for a long time and I can see why. It is a big space but it feels warm and inviting. They have a big selection of Pastries to choose from. The service is good and so are the prices. I took home the Chocolate Raspberry Rum Bread Pudding and Linzer Tarts and they were delicious 😋. Lovely Bakery. If I come to this neighborhood again, I would definitely stop by for more goodies

Stopped in today and asked the woman behind the counter if the cannolis were “decent.” She hits me with the most Brooklyn stare imaginable and goes: “Decent?! I’ve been in business 91 years. You think people would still be coming here if my cannolis were decent? These are the best cannolis you’ve ever had — you’ll be coming back for these cannolis.” Then she tells me she doesn’t put chocolate chips on them — and still walks to the back to grab the chocolate chips just for me. Top tier hospitality. Cannoli itself? Perfect shell, perfect filling, zero gimmicks. She was absolutely right, truly the best cannolis I’ve had to date. If you are in the area do not pass this up.

On first glance, I already fell in love with this pastry shop. It’s a DREAM. I tried their mini chocolate raspberry cake & guava puff pastry and let me tell you they’re a 10/10. It tastes very classic and nostalgic. Will def be back
